Rehearsal facilities and their equipment
Rehearsal facilities were created especially for groups seeking to improve their skills and hone the sound of instruments. The area of the room, as a rule, is not too large, since the reproduced sound should be juicy, the hay should reflect it, creating various sounding effects. Dividing the room into two working compartments allows not only repeatedly playing the melody, but also, relying on the operator’s equipment, record it and listen at home to identify any errors. The walls of the recording studio are sheathed with special material, as well as the ceiling and floor.
The equipment provided by the rehearsal base must include an acoustic system. They differ not only in appearance, but also in parameters, a mixer that will help in processing, guitar combos, a drum kit, equipped usually with a pedal, bass drum, suspended and floor toms, crash, hi-hat, ride. The owner also provides stands for rehearsals – vocal and keyboards, microphones, and switching equipment. The latter should allow to combine together all the equipment used. Part of the equipment can be brought with you and installed at the time of rehearsal. Specialists working in the studio will help you properly connect the necessary equipment and begin rehearsing.
Since acoustic systems differ from each other, let us dwell on the description of a three-way system. The three speakers used are capable of reproducing mid, high and low frequencies, and for the most part are characterized by amplitude-frequency parameters that allow you to determine the correct reproduction and sound of the melody. Sound reproduced by a system with a driver will have a high mid density, while using Twitter will allow it to dissipate somewhat.
A sufficient density of the middle will compensate for the low volume of the lower frequencies, resulting in high-quality sound. A two-way speaker system with a driver allows you to get bright mid-range frequencies, powerful vocals, and a rich rhythm guitar.
The presence of a subwoofer or speaker system, including one or more low-frequency speakers, allows you to get powerful sound from a low-frequency signal. This is important because most of the power is concentrated in the low-frequency range. Despite the complexity of tuning the sound system, if there is a subwoofer in it, the sound quality from its use will increase significantly, moreover, the sound engineer will provide the necessary assistance in setting it up.
