Yamaha is the story of the legendary guitar maker

One of the oldest corporations in the world – Yamaha was born in 1897. It bears the name of its founder Thorakus Yamaha, whose love of musical instruments encouraged him to take this important step for the entire music industry. The most remarkable thing in this story is that until 1887, Thorakusu was completely not interested in music, he was a master in the repair of medical instruments, and this occupation was to his liking. But Mr. Case intervened, and it is to him that we can now say “thank you” for the fact that Yamaha classical and electric guitars delight us with their magnificent sound. So, Thoracus was asked to fix a failed reed organ. The lesson was so carried away by the master that, having finished his work, he set about making his own organ. And made it! And then he began to improve, since the Institute of Musical Studies in Tokyo revealed a number of shortcomings.

So, we can say that the fascination with Thoracus musical instruments began with pure chance. He worked on tuning forks and organs, then, in 1902, the first pianos under the Yamaha logo saw the light of day. About forty years will pass, and in 1941 a new milestone in the history of the company will begin. Yamaha acoustic guitars – prototypes of modern fine instruments have left the factory.

A characteristic feature of the development of this famous Japanese company is continuous continuous work in various directions. They open laboratories where new developments are tested, and begin to produce a huge number of products, most of which are becoming leaders in their fields. Yamaha branches open in Europe and America. The corporation creates its own music schools, the purpose of which is to promote equipment and improve the skills of teachers.

The Japanese corporation was one of the first to establish mass production of electric guitars. Yamaha’s contribution to the development of the music technology market is enormous and cannot be overestimated. And today, when you are going to buy a guitar, in almost any music store you will definitely be advised to choose the instrument of this particular manufacturer. He deserved this by the quality of his products, his dedication to his work and the always responsible, uncompromising approach to his work. That’s why Yamaha is one of the most recognizable brands in the whole world that is loved and appreciated by lovers of all, without exception, musical styles.
