A bit of history about acoustic and classic guitars
The history of the appearance of modern guitars, which people see today, originates from ancient times. Its ancestors consider those tools that were common in the countries of the Middle and Middle East a few millennia ago. And some of the representatives of this instrument are Nabble, Egyptian Kifara, Kinnor, wine and other ancient instruments that had a resonating body and a neck.
All of these instruments at that time had a hollow, rounded body, which was made from whole small pieces of wood or from the shells of turtles or dried pumpkins. And in the first half of the century of a new era, the lute, which is the closest relatives of the guitar, was quite popular. Its name is translated as harmonious and wooden. In general, the word “guitar” came from a combination of two words, it is “sangita”, that is, music, as well as the ancient word “tar”, that is, a string.
Until the sixteenth century, guitars were three-stringed and four-stringed, and they were played with fingers or with a special bone-plate plectrum, which is similar to a mediator. And in the XVII century in Spain there was the very first five-stringed, which was called “Spanish guitar”. She had double strings and the first of them was a “songwriter”, which quite often was made single.
The first appearance of the hexagonal guitar was in the second half of the 18th century in Spain. And with the advent of the sixth string, double strings were replaced with single strings and in this form it is presented today. As a result, due to its sound qualities and musical capabilities, this musical instrument has received worldwide recognition, so it has become prestigious to buy a guitar for entertainment or for work. Today they are divided into such types as electro-acoustic, acoustic, electric guitars or MIDI guitars.
As for the acoustic guitar, it refers to this type of instruments that have design features designed to enhance the sound of strings due to the acoustic properties of its body. Therefore, you should buy an acoustic guitar for professionals or for lovers of very thin string music.
Regarding the classic version of the acoustic guitar, its design was based on the model of the instrument, which was developed by the Spanish master of the 19th century Antonio Torres. This guitar and today is the most successful, regarding its acoustic properties.
